Bookkeeper / Accountant –

Location: Kloof, KwaZulu-Natal

Employment Type: Permanent, Half-Day

Working Arrangement: Office-Based

We are recruiting for a qualified Bookkeeper / Accountant to join an established business based in Kloof, KwaZulu-Natal.

You will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records and supporting the day-to-day bookkeeping and accounting requirements of the business.

Key Responsibilities:

• Full bookkeeping function
• Processing and maintaining accurate financial records
• Accounts payable and accounts receivable
• Bank and account reconciliations
• Preparation of financial information and reports
• General ledger maintenance
• Assisting with month-end accounting processes
• Maintaining accurate supporting documentation
• General finance and accounting administration

Requirements:

• Relevant Bookkeeping,/Accounting or Finance qualification
• 5-10 years previous bookkeeping/accounting experience
• Strong understanding of accounting principles
• Excellent numerical ability and attention to detail
• Strong organisational and administrative skills
• Ability to work independently and manage responsibilities effectively
• Professional, reliable and trustworthy approach
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
