Duties

• Oversee all aspects of corporate accounting functions including general ledger reconciliation, accounts payable and receivable, and month-end closing processes.
• Lead the preparation of comprehensive financial reports, ensuring clarity, accuracy, and compliance with regulatory standards such as SOX (Sarbanes-Oxley Act) and governmental requirements.
• Manage the financial close process, including journal entries, balance sheet reconciliation, and account analysis to guarantee timely and precise reporting.
• Supervise and develop accounting teams, fostering a collaborative environment that emphasizes continuous improvement in accounting practices and technical proficiency.
• Ensure adherence to regulatory compliance accounting standards across multiple jurisdictions, including IFRS and GAAP, while implementing best practices for internal controls.
• Conduct cost accounting analysis to support budgeting, forecasting, and strategic decision-making initiatives.
• Oversee treasury management activities such as cash flow forecasting, banking relationships, and liquidity optimization to support organizational growth.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in public accounting or corporate finance with a strong foundation in technical accounting principles including SOX compliance, IFRS, GAAP, and regulatory reporting.
• Demonstrated expertise in governmental or non-profit accounting environments is highly desirable.
• Proficiency with financial software systems and advanced Excel data analysis skills for detailed financial modeling and reporting.
• Strong knowledge of international accounting standards combined with experience managing complex financial concepts like double entry bookkeeping, debits & credits, and general ledger reconciliation.
• Experience managing accounting teams with a focus on finance team leadership, workflow optimization, and staff development.
• Ability to perform detailed account reconciliation, account analysis, budgeting processes, and forecasting with precision.
• Excellent communication skills for financial report writing and presenting insights to stakeholders at all levels.

Pay: $70,000.00 - $102,000.00 per year
