Accountant/Operations & Admin Assistant

About the role

Exotica Food Concepts Limited is seeking a reliable Accountant / Operations & Admin Assistant to support growing operations. The role combines accounting, inventory management, and operational coordination to enable the founder and sales team to focus on business development.

Key responsibilities

• Handle daily bookkeeping and maintain accurate accounting records and filing
• Assist with purchase orders, import documentation, and supplier coordination
• Monitor inventory levels, batch/lot tracking, and expiry dates for sauce and meat products
• Follow up on outstanding payments and accounts receivable
• Prepare documents and reports for the external accountant
• Assist with basic HR and general admin tasks
• Coordinate with warehouses / 3PL partners and support daily operational needs
• Provide operational support related to product trials and restaurant accounts

About you

• Experience in accounting and bookkeeping
• Experience in food distribution, F&B, inventory control, or import operations is highly preferred
• Responsible, detail-oriented, and able to work independently
• Good command of spoken and written English and Chinese (Cantonese preferred)
• Proficient in Excel; knowledge of accounting software (Xero, QuickBooks, or similar) is an advantage
• Interest in the food industry is a plus
