SW Thailand is looking for motivated Junior Accountants to join our growing Accounting & Tax team. You will have the opportunity to work with both Thai and international clients across a wide range of industries while developing practical experience in accounting, financial reporting, taxation, and regulatory compliance.

Job Overview

As a Junior Accountant, you will work closely with senior accountants, managers, and other experienced professionals in providing accounting and tax compliance services to our clients.

Your role will include day-to-day bookkeeping, account reconciliations, month-end and year-end closing, preparation of financial statements, and assistance with Thai tax compliance.

You will gain hands-on experience working with companies of different sizes and industries, including multinational companies with operations in Thailand.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform day-to-day accounting and bookkeeping for assigned clients.
• Record and review accounting transactions and supporting documentation.
• Perform bank, accounts receivable, accounts payable, and other account reconciliations.
• Assist with monthly, quarterly, and year-end closing processes.
• Prepare monthly management accounts, trial balances, and financial reports.
• Assist in preparing annual financial statements in accordance with applicable Thai Financial Reporting Standards, including TFRS for NPAEs.
• Prepare and assist with Thai tax compliance, including VAT, withholding tax, corporate income tax, and other applicable tax filings.
• Use accounting software such as Express, Xero, QuickBooks, and other accounting systems used by our clients.
• Coordinate with clients to obtain accounting records, supporting documents, and information required for accounting and tax compliance.
• Work closely with senior accountants and managers to resolve accounting and tax matters.
• Ensure assigned work is completed accurately and within agreed deadlines.
• Maintain professional communication and positive working relationships with clients.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting.
• At least 2 years of accounting, audit, or tax experience with an accounting, audit, tax, or professional services firm is an advantage.
• Basic knowledge of Thai accounting standards and Thai tax regulations.
• Familiarity with accounting software such as Express, Xero, or QuickBooks is an advantage.
• Good analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Willingness to learn and ability to work effectively as part of a professional team.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in Thai and English.
• Chinese language skills are an advantage but not required.
• Candidates must have the legal right to work in Thailand.
