Accounting Analyst

About the Company:

Our client is a global alternative asset manager specializing in multi-strategy investing, focusing on areas such as credit, real estate, and institutional equities.

Responsibilities:

• Perform accounting for the general ledger close process including journal entry preparation, reconciliations, and analytics
• Prepare financial statements, draft disclosures, and respond to audit requests across domestic and foreign statutory audits
• Prepare quarterly footnote disclosures for parent company public filings
• Assist in the preparation and filing of periodic and ad hoc reporting to domestic and foreign regulators
• Prepare financial data as needed for other business departments
• Assist with ad hoc accounting projects as they arise

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting
• 1-3 years of accounting experience within public accounting or at an alternative asset firm
• CPA or parts passed a plus
• Strong Excel skills

Salary Range:

$80,000-$100,000
