Accounting Analyst

The Accounting Analyst is responsible for performing accounting, financial reporting, and control activities to ensure the accurate and timely recording of financial transactions. This role supports month-end closing processes, account reconciliations, financial reporting, audit requirements, and continuous improvement initiatives while ensuring compliance with company policies and accounting standards.

• Prepare and record accounting journal entries, including accruals, provisions, and account adjustments.

• Perform balance sheet account reconciliations and investigate discrepancies.

• Execute monthly, quarterly, and annual closing activities.

• Prepare and analyze financial reports to ensure accuracy and compliance.

• Monitor and maintain fixed asset accounting, including capitalizations and disposals.

• Support internal and external audits by providing required documentation and explanations.

• Prepare information for statutory, tax, and regulatory reporting requirements.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Finance, Controlling, Payroll, and Corporate Accounting.

• Track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) related to accounting processes.

• Identify opportunities for process improvements and support continuous improvement projects.

• Ensure compliance with company policies, accounting standards, and internal controls.

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA preferred).

• Minimum 5 years of experience in accounting or finance.

• Experience with SAP Finance modules.

• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.

• Strong knowledge of general accounting, financial reporting, and account reconciliations.

• Experience supporting internal and external audits.

• Knowledge of month-end and year-end closing processes.

• Experience in process improvement initiatives is preferred.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Effective communication and teamwork abilities.

• Intermediate to advanced English proficiency.
