Accounting Analyst (Costing)

Responsibilities

1. Working as part of the finance team, responsible for one of the Business segment Income Statement.
2. Effectively maintenance and timely submission for all monthly/ quarterly/ annual financial statement, variance analysis report, corporate reporting, and others ad hoc reporting.
3. Support operation team in term of cost controlling, conducting periodical cycle count exercise for physical inventory.
4. Involve in Budget process as well as product costing.
5. Reviewing inventory status and organize annual stock take activities.
6. Perform monthly General Ledger closing activities, including preparation and posting of journal entries, accruals, provisions and reclassifications.
7. Review General Ledger accounts and investigate unusual balances or variances to ensure completeness and accuracy of financial records.
8. Support statutory audit, internal audit and compliance requirements by preparing schedules and providing relevant General Ledger supporting documents.
9. Plan and schedule work to meet deadlines established to ensure the completion of several related tasks.
10. To undertake other related jobs from time to time directed by superior.

Education & Experience

• Degree in Accountancy or any professional accountancy qualification (CIMA/CACA/ACCA) or equivalent
• Minimum 3 years and above working experience in manufacturing environment
• Computer literate and conversant with SAP is an added advantage
• Mature personality with excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Possess hands-on attitude
• Ability to work independently and with a team in a fast-paced and high volume environment with emphasis on accuracy and timeliness.
