Accounting Assistant - Clark Freeport Zone

Role Overview

We are seeking a reliable Accounting Assistant to join our Finance team.

You will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, processing accounting transactions, preparing financial reports, and ensuring full compliance with established accounting policies and regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Financial Record Maintenance: Record and process daily accounting transactions and prepare general journal entries.
• Bank & Ledger Reconciliations: Perform regular bank reconciliations and verify transaction accuracy.
• AP/AR Processing: Handle Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable tasks, ensuring timely processing and recording.
• Financial Closing & Reporting: Assist in the period-end financial closing activities and support general financial reporting.
• Audit & Compliance Support: Provide support during internal and external audits, ensuring compliance with accounting policies and regulations.
• General Accounting Tasks: Perform additional financial or administrative duties as assigned.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Accountancy, Accounting Technology, Finance, or a related field.

• Experience: At least 2–3 years of relevant accounting experience.

• Technical Skills:

  • Solid understanding of general accounting principles and financial reporting.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
  • Experience with SAP S/4HANA is a strong advantage.
