Accounting Assistant

KEY FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Maintaining an accurate day to day financial transaction.
• To handle accounts payables and receivables.
• Monthly and Annual preparation of Financial and Sales Reports.
• To handle timekeeping for Payroll.
• Balancing a company's income and expenses.
• Reconciliation of monthly bank statements .
• Complete and Accurate filing of all sales invoices.
• Weekly banking activities such as PCF reimbursements and others.
• Assists external auditor for the annual audit.

OTHER TASKS:

• Assists CFO in developing systems to account for financial transactions by establishing a chart of accounts.
• Management of sales ledger.
• Preparation of trial balances.
• Responsible in the retrieval of old financial documents as needed.
• Handling subsidiary accounts – LNS and other sales
• Reports directly to Sales & Admin Manager.
• To perform other tasks as maybe assigned by Immediate Superior.
