Accounting Assistant

Job Responsibilities:

• Assists the Finance Head in daily financial and accounting operations

• Handles daily accounting tasks including recording and processing transactions

• Prepares Cash Vouchers and Journal Vouchers accurately and timely

• Prepares monthly financial and management reports

• Monitors Property, Plant, and Equipment (PPE) movement and records

• Maintains and monitors subsidiary ledger accounts

• Monitors and ensures timely compliance with government requirements (e.g., BIR, permits, and other regulatory filings)

• Prepares and organizes documentation for government compliance

• Responsible for proper filing and safekeeping of financial and compliance documents

• Performs other accounting and analytical tasks as assigned

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy, Finance, or a related field

• ·With at least two (2) year experience in accounting, bookkeeping, or finance-related work

• ·With basic knowledge of accounting principles (e.g., journal entries, ledgers)

• MUST have experience with MYOB (tools/ software)

• ·Strong attention to detail and accuracy of numbers

• ·Familiarity with bookkeeping systems

• ·Ability to handle confidential financial information

• ·Know to handle accounting matters without supervision
