Accounting Assistant

We’re seeking an Accounting Assistant to provide day-to-day support with financial records, documentation, and routine accounting tasks. The right person will be comfortable working carefully with numbers and keeping information well organized.

Responsibilities

• Enter and maintain accounting records and transaction information.
• Review invoices, receipts, and supporting documentation.
• Assist with account reconciliations and routine checks.
• Keep financial files and records properly organized.
• Prepare spreadsheets and basic financial reports.
• Help track outstanding items and documentation.
• Support the accounting team during regular reporting periods.
• Communicate with internal staff regarding routine accounting questions.

Qualifications

• Basic understanding of accounting principles.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Comfortable working with Excel or similar spreadsheet software.
• Good organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to handle confidential business information appropriately.
• Previous accounting or administrative experience is an advantage.
