Accounting Assistant

The Role

New Marketlink Pharmaceutical Corporation, a leading pharmaceutical company, is seeking an Accounting Assistant to join our team in Pasig City, Metro Manila. As an Accounting Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting the accounting operations and ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our financial records.

Key Responsibilities

1. Process cash advance requests and cash advance liquidation from receiving, auditing, and preparation of pay advice and entry in the system
2. Process accounts receivable transactions
3. Audit of expense report and prepare pay-advice for reimbursement to employees
4. Prepare audit findings report on cash advances and expense report quarterly
5. Provide support in the preparation of financial reports and statements
6. Prepare clearance for resigned employees

What We're Looking For

1. Preferably a BSA Graduate or its equivalent course (BS Management Accounting, BS Banking and Finance or BS in Business Admin & Accountancy)
2. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
3. Proficient in the use of accounting software and Microsoft Office applications
4. Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
5. Good communication and interpersonal skills
6. Ability to work well in a team and adapt to changing priorities
7. Relevant education or coursework in Accounting or a related field
8. At least 1 year of experience as an Accounting Assistant or in a similar role (preferred)
