ACCOUNTING ASSISTANT

We are looking for a driven individual to join our Accounting Team based in VALENZUELA CITY. This role provides an excellent opportunity to build accounting expertise in Accounts Receivable (AR), transaction reconciliation, and financial reporting.

The Job:

• Maintaining effective management systems and processes on the assigned function, including but not limited to, Accounts Receivable, DR Generation, Sales Invoicing, Financial Reporting and transaction reconciliation.
• Timely and accurate generation and submission of month-end and year-end internal and government statutory reports.
• Preparation of relevant documents for BIR filings and assessments.
• Collaboration with Accounting Manager to resolve accounting-related issues.
• Performing a variety of admin-related tasks as required

The Candidate We Seek:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or a related business degree.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in an accounting or finance role, preferably with  a retail, consumer goods or manufacturing company.
• Highly proficient at Microsoft Excel (well-versed with PIVOT and VLOOKUP functions)
• Experience with using SAP BUSINESS ONE or other accounting software will give the candidate a major advantage.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively in a team
• Applicants must be willing to work in VALENZUELA CITY, Metro Manila
