Accounting Assistant

GENERAL JOB DESCRIPTION

• Accounting background, with exposure to Accounts Payable and Receivable,
• Knowledge in taxation, with experience on doing and filing of tax reports
• Can handle light to moderate accounting/audit issues and do recommendations to improve process
• Experience in organizing and prioritizing work effectively

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Responsible in maintaining, monitoring, and preserving accurate accounting records.
• Monitor and maintain filing of important files soft copy (scan upload in accounting system) and hard copy.
• Assist Finance Officers in closing process and budget forecasting
• Assist Finance Officers in monthly reportorial submissions and timely payments to BIR, SEC, and other related agencies
• Assist in Managing Accounts Receivable
• Daily recording and monitoring of all cash disbursements
• Assist with budget preparation and audits
• Check and verify source documents such as invoices, receipts, and other related documents (APV, Journal Entries, Check Vouchers, Amortization/ Depreciation, Prepayments)
• Provide clerical and administrative support to management as requested
• Coordinate any procedures or concerns that are bank-related, if any
