Key responsibilities
- Record daily financial transactions, journal entries, and ledger updates
- Process vendor invoices, manage bill payments, and track client payments
- Perform bank and credit card reconciliations to fix discrepancies
- Assist with month-end or year-end closing and prepare profit-and-loss statements
- Organize financial files and assist senior accountants with audits
About you
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (spreadsheets, formulas)
- Proficiency in accounting software like QuickBooks or NetSuite
- High attention to detail
- Strong time management
- Good communication
- 0 to 3+ years of general bookkeeping or accounting background
