Accounting Assistant

About the role

The Accounting Assistant will be responsible for handling daily accounting operations. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to our growth while working in a fast-paced environment.

Key responsibilities

• Handling daily accounting operations including maintaining up-to-date data in accounting and PMS systems, issuing debit notes and cheques, preparing vouchers and filing
• Assisting in month-end and year-end closings and preparation of financial reports and statements
• Working closely with other teams in tracking business activities and reconciliations
• Providing administrative and clerical support to the accounting team
• Assisting in ad-hoc assignments to support business needs

About you

• Diploma in Accounting or LCCI second level, or equivalent/above
• At least 5 years of accounting/bookkeeping experience (preferably in trust fund fields)
• Proficient in MS Office and accounting software (experience with Peachtree system preferred)
• Honest, detail-minded, self-motivated, independent, hard-working, well organized and willing to learn
• Good command of both spoken and written English and Cantonese
