Accounting Assistant

Job Summary
The Accounting Assistant is responsible for processing invoices and expense reports, performing account reconciliations and financial analyses, assisting in month-end closing activities, and maintaining accurate accounting records. The role also provides administrative support through the proper filing and management of financial documents.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and process expense reports.
• Process invoices for non-trade suppliers, brokers, duties & taxes, and settlements.
• Perform expense account analysis and prepare monthly expense reports.
• Conduct bank reconciliations and monthly SL & GL reconciliations.
• Monitor and analyze non-trade clearing accounts.
• Assist in month-end closing requirements.
• Maintain organized filing systems and financial records.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy or any related course.
• At least 1–2 years of accounting experience; fresh graduates may be considered.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Analytical, detail-oriented, and organized.
