Accounting Assistant

About the role

This role involves comprehensive accounting and financial transaction management, including daily recording of financial transactions, accounts receivable and payable monitoring, agent incentive preparation, loan and client account administration, insurance premium audits, check preparation and disbursement support, document filing and record keeping, and financial reporting to support management.

Key responsibilities

• Record and maintain daily financial transactions accurately and promptly
• Monitor and record company income, agent income, trade checks receivable and payable
• Record clients' loan proceeds and other related financial transactions
• Monitor trade checks receivable and payable, track outstanding balances and due dates
• Prepare and monitor post-dated checks (PDCs) and organize past-due checks for follow-up
• Prepare agent incentive computations and verify calculations for accuracy
• Prepare loan transmittals, loan amortization schedules, and clients' Statements of Account (SOA)
• Conduct monthly audits of insurance premiums and review records for accuracy
• Prepare checks for authorized payments and maintain records of issued and outstanding checks
• File and maintain clients' bank statements and financial documents with proper organization and confidentiality
