Accounting Assistant

Job Responsibilities

• Bookkeeping & Records: Enter daily financial transactions, update ledgers, and organize physical and digital financial documents.
• Accounts Payable & Receivable: Process vendor invoices, match receipts, issue customer bills, and track payments.
• Reconciliation: Perform basic bank and account reconciliations to check for errors or discrepancies.
• Reporting Support: Help compile data for monthly reports, budgets, and tax document preparation.
• Administrative Support: Answer billing inquiries from vendors and maintain office files.

Qualifications & Skills

• Education: Associate’s degree or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
• Software Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and common accounting software like QuickBooks or SAP.
• Core Competencies: Strong attention to detail, basic math skills, and high integrity for handling confidential data
