Accounting Assistant

About the role

This role offers diverse exposure across accounts payable, BIR compliance, and general accounting operations - perfect for building a solid foundation in accounting within a stable, quality-focused manufacturing environment backed by 18+ years of continuous operations.

Key responsibilities

• Manages accounts payable processes including invoice verification, payment preparation, and vendor coordination
• Prepares and complete BIR-related compliance tasks and regulatory reporting requirements
• Maintains accurate accounting records and documentation in accordance with company standards
• Supports month-end closing activities and assist in the preparation of financial reports
• Performs general accounting tasks and provide administrative support to the Accounting Supervisor

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, or a related field
• At least two (2) years of experience in accounts payable, accounting reporting, and BIR compliance
• Working knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and Philippine accounting laws and regulations
• Strong attention to detail with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Good time management abilities and capability to work independently in a small team setting
