Accounting Assistant

We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounting Assistant to support daily accounting operations, including transaction processing, reconciliation, record maintenance, and reporting.

Key Responsibilities

• Encode financial transactions and process vendor invoices, customer payments, and purchase orders.
• Reconcile bank, vendor, and credit card statements and resolve discrepancies.
• Maintain general ledgers and track incoming and outgoing funds.
• Compile financial data for balance sheets, P&L statements, and month-end/year-end closing.
• Maintain organized accounting files and respond to basic vendor/client billing inquiries.
• Perform other accounting and administrative tasks as assigned.

Qualifications

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred.
• 1–2 years of experience in bookkeeping, AP/AR, or general administration.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting platforms.
• Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy.
• Good time management, organization, and communication skills.
