Job Overview

• We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Accounting Assistant to join our dynamic finance team. This position offers an exciting opportunity to assist the Accounting Manager by preparing and posting standard journal entries, research and reconciling GL accounts and composing/preparing spreadsheets to assist with various cost and other financial analysis .

Duties

• Assist in posting accounts payable invoices
• Pricing file creation and uploading.
• Lexis Nexis Checks
• Backup for Costings
• Backup for posting bank deposits
• Weekly reports
• Download bank statements
• Assist in operating cost forecast
• Maintain rebate spreadsheets
• Research and reconcile General ledger accounts
• Assist in Monthly closing of the books of accounts in SAP
• Work as a Team member with all colleagues, keeping the Accounting Manager informed of any changes and / or problems.

Requirements

• Field of Specialization: Exposure to Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and General Ledger
• Experience: Minimum of two years’ experience in Accounting
• Minimum Qualification: Associates Accounting degree
• Specialized Training: Computer applications with particular emphasis in Excel, SAP a plus
• General Skills: Analytical, Focused, Self starter, Logical thinking, Team player, Communication

Pay: $18.00 per hour
