About the role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organised Accounting Assistant to join our Finance team on a full-time basis in Makati City, Metro Manila. In this role, you will provide essential support to our accounting department, assisting with the day-to-day financial operations and administrative tasks that keep our organisation running smoothly. This position is crucial in ensuring accurate financial records and supporting the broader finance function across ACUHERB MARKETING INT'L CORPORATION.

Key responsibilities

• Processing and recording financial transactions, including invoices, receipts and expense reports
• Assisting with accounts payable and accounts receivable functions
• Preparing and maintaining accurate financial documentation and records
• Reconciling bank statements and identifying discrepancies
• Supporting the preparation of financial reports and statements
• Filing and organising financial documents in accordance with company procedures
• Assisting with payroll processing and related administrative tasks
• Responding to financial queries from internal departments
• Performing general accounting administration and clerical duties as required
• Ensuring compliance with company policies and accounting standards

What we're looking for

• A diploma or degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel
• Strong numerical and analytical skills with meticulous attention to detail
• Excellent organisational abilities and the capacity to manage multiple tasks efficiently
• Solid understanding of basic accounting principles and practices
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
• Reliability, integrity and a professional approach to confidential financial information
• Prior experience in an accounting or finance role would be advantageous
