Accounting Assistant

As we continue to grow, we are seeking a motivated Accounting Assistant to join our Finance team and support the smooth and efficient operation of our accounting and financial processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with the day-to-day accounting activities and maintenance of accurate financial records.
• Process and record invoices, expenses, payments, receipts, and other accounting transactions.
• Support accounts payable and accounts receivable activities, including invoice verification and account reconciliations.
• Maintain and update accounting records, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and proper documentation.
• Support the preparation of accounting reports, schedules, and financial information as required.
• Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities and provide supporting documentation when required.
• Communicate with suppliers, customers, banks, and internal departments regarding accounting and payment-related matters.
• Support the Finance team in ensuring compliance with internal procedures and applicable accounting and tax requirements.

Position Requirements

• Degree or diploma in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• A minimum of one year of proven working experience in an accounting role.
• Proficiency in SoftOne ERP and Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Good communication and problem-solving skills.
• Fluent in written and spoken English.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and meet deadlines.
• A structured, responsible, and team-oriented approach to work.
