Accounting Assistant

Key Responsibilities:

• Input and maintain accurate financial data of the project for the Accounting Manager’s review.
• Assist with processing of vendor invoices, monitor vendor payment and compiling expense reports specifically tied to the HQ project.
• Conduct preliminary reconciliations of data submitted by the partner, highlighting and escalating discrepancies directly to the Accounting Manager
• Act as the initial checkpoint for internal controls by verifying data accuracy and ensuring all required supporting documents are complete before submitting files for approval.
• Organize, digitalize and maintain project financial records to ensure they are audit ready for management.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the company.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field (open to recent graduates).
• Basic proficiency in Microsoft Excel and basic spreadsheets functionalities.
• Highly proficient in handling numerical data and organizing manual tracking files.
• Exceptional attention to details and data entry accuracy.
• Good communication and organizational skills.
