Accounting Assistant

Under direct supervision of the Controller, the ideal candidate will process weekly payroll for approximately 100 employees, manage all union and Department of Industrial Relations (DIR) reports, maintain and process accounting records including accounts payable and receivables, and other duties as assigned.

JOB DUTIES

• Payroll processing
• Weekly certified payroll to DIR and LPC Tracker
• Monthly payroll reports
• Job cost tracking
• Credit card data entry
• Assist with subcontractor payments
• Monthly income billings

EMPLOYMENT STANDARDS

Strong communication skills and willing to help others when requested. Knowledge in accounting and payroll processing. Desirable skills/education are construction accounting experience, Construction Partner and Excel software familiarity, and an associate’s degree/college classes in accounting.
