We are looking for a self-driven and meticulous Accounts Assistant to support our finance operations. The ideal candidate will handle daily accounts payable processing, bank reconciliations, and assist in cash flow tracking for our regional operations.

Job Description

Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

• Take full ownership of the Accounts Payable (AP) payment function and accurately perform data entry for Singapore operating expense invoices.
• Update daily bank transactions in the cash flow forecast, including tracking and recording Singapore Customs import duties.
• Manage financing loan applications (AR & AP financing) and ensure all corresponding transaction entries are properly recorded.
• Update payment entries in the MYOB accounting system prior to executing disbursements in the corporate banking portal.
• Prepare monthly bank reconciliations for Singapore bank accounts.
• Monitor and track the AP payment request list, monthly recurring operating expenses, and automated GIRO payments.
• Verify that all supporting payment documentation is complete, accurate, and fully compliant with internal guidelines before processing transactions.
• Provide cross-coverage support for Vietnam operating expense data entry and payment processing during colleagues' absences.
• Perform other ad-hoc accounting and finance duties as assigned by the Finance Manager.

Job Requirements

● Bachelors’ degree in Accounting/ Auditing from HCM University of Economics /HCM University of Banking/ HCM University of Economics & Laws

● Work experience of 2 - 3 years as a General Accountant

● Good understanding of the accounting principles and standards of Vietnam

● Good systematic & analytical thinking

● Experience with taxes under Vietnamese law

● Familiar with Microsoft Office: Excel, Word and Powerpoint

● Experience with accounting software applications

● Good interpersonal skill and able to communicate in English in verbal and writing

● Ability to handle multiple-tasks & have time management skill to meet deadlines.

● Ability to work independently, self-motivated, be proactive in learning new things and handle assigned & ad-hoc tasks effectively.

Working Hours/ Day

• Monday to Friday, 8:30 am to 5:30 pm
• Lunch break: 12:00 pm – 1:00 pm

Location: 25 – 27 B4 Street, Sala Urban Area, Ho Chi Minh City
