Accounting Assistant

Duties and Responsibilities

• Encodes accounting entries for Cash Advance Liquidations and monitors cash advances.
• Provides day-to-day assistance with SAP-related activities.
• Performs non-student billing transactions in SAP.
• Assists in the preparation and filing of monthly and quarterly BIR compliance requirements for both APCTCI and APTEFI.
• Prepares BIR Form 2307 for suppliers.
• Assists in coordinating with internal and external auditors.
• Prepares the Alphalist of Payees.
• Performs other ad hoc tasks and provides support as required.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Admin
2. 2-3 years’ work experience in cashiering, treasury or accounting functions in a school or non-profit (preferred but not required)
3. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and has background in using SAP
4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills especially in a school setting
5. Strong attention to detail and integrity in handling financial information
