Accounting Assistant

Translink Shipping, Inc. headquarters, located in North Seattle has an immediate opening in its accounting department.

Job Responsibilities

• Provide support to the accounting team with daily transactions and reconciliations.
• Assist with vendor statement reconciliations and related documentation.
• Follow up on outstanding accounts receivable and support timely collection efforts.
• Maintain organized financial records and ensure proper filing of accounting documents.
• Provide general accounting and administrative support to the accounting team as needed.
• Contribute to accurate and timely financial operations to support smooth business operations.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field.
• 1-2 years of relevant accounting or accounting support experience preferred.
• Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Demonstrates professionalism and adherence to company policies and procedures.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Demonstrates basic accounting knowledge and Excel skills.
• A team player with a positive attitude and a willingness to learn and grow within the company long term.

Previous work experience in International Ocean Freight/NVOCC is preferred, but not required
