Accounting Assistant

Responsibilities:

• Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable processes
• Process and record financial transactions accurately in accounting software
• Reconcile bank statements and general ledger accounts
• Prepare and distribute invoices, purchase orders, and expense reports
• Support month-end and year-end closing procedures
• Maintain and organize financial records and documentation
• Assist senior accountants with audits, reporting, and data entry tasks

Requirements:

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred
• 1+ years of experience in an accounting or bookkeeping role
• Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks, SAP, or similar platforms
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills including formulas and spreadsheet management
• Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills
• Ability to handle confidential financial information with discretion
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative, team-player attitude
