Accounting Assistant (General Ledger)

Job Responsibilities:

• Make daily collection calls
• Respond to basic client inquiries and other clerical tasks related to accounts receivable records
• Prepare customer statements, bills and invoices
• Identify and execute necessary process adjustments
• Perform day to day financial transactions including verifying, classifying, computing and reconcile with back office
• Monitoring of Accounts receivable aging and chasing overdue accounts
• Sorting financial information/documents and posting them to the proper accounts
• Responsible for General Ledger
• Perform any ad-hoc assignment as per management requirement

Qualifications:

• At minimum, Diploma or Degree in Finance, Accounting, Bookkeeping or similar field.
• 1-2 years of relevant, hands-on accounting experience
• Has experience in Accounts Receivable/General Ledger
• Has experience with Quickbooks
• Proficient to advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications, including Excel
• Good math skills and the ability to spot numerical errors
• Ability to multi-task and work in a challenging fast paced environment
• Willing to extended working hours if needed
• Must be living nearby BGC area or willing to live nearby
• Willing to work in BGC, Mondays to Fridays, 9am to 6pm
