What is the job?

The Accounting Associate 2 is responsible in supporting core accounting operations, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, reconciliations, cash records, and financial reporting.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare journal entries and complete account reconciliations.
• Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions accurately and on time.
• Maintain accurate cash records by posting and reviewing bank transactions.
• Support month-end and year-end close activities.
• Assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.• Review accounting transactions for accuracy and completeness.
• Investigate and resolve billing and accounting discrepancies.
• Maintain accurate and organized documentation for financial transactions.
• Support external audits and internal control requirements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve accounting issues.
• Support improvements to accounting processes and workflows.
• Contribute to automation and other process improvement initiatives.
• Perform other accounting duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Experience with general ledger, AP, AR, journal entries, and account reconciliations.
• Demonstrates strong understanding of fundamental accounting principles and US Accounting.
• Minimum of two (2) years of relevant accounting experience, preferably with hands-on experience in both accounts receivable and accounts payable.
• Experience with general ledger activities, journal entries, reconciliations, and financial transactions.
