accounting associate

An Accounting Assistant is responsible for assisting with daily accounting activities, including data entry, daily bank reconciliations, petty cash custody, maintaining accurate financial records and organized documentation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare, verify, and file invoices, receipts, and other financial documents.
• Record financial transactions accurately.
• Reconcile bank statements and company accounts.
• Assist in preparing financial reports and month-end closing activities.
• Maintain organized and up-to-date accounting records and filing systems.
• Support audits by providing requested documentation and information.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and applicable accounting regulations.
• Perform general administrative duties related to the accounting department.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting
• Basic knowledge of accounting principles and bookkeeping practices.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Good mathematical and analytical abilities.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
