Accounting Associate

• Record and maintain accurate accounting transactions in the company’s accounting system.
• Prepare and process journal entries, invoices, receipts, payments, and other accounting documents.
• Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts.
• Perform monthly bank and account reconciliations and investigate discrepancies.
• Monitor accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions.
• Prepare schedules and supporting documents for month-end and year-end closing.
• Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
• Monitor and maintain proper documentation of accounting records and supporting schedules.
• Assist with cash flow monitoring and other financial analysis as required.
• Review transactions for completeness, accuracy, and proper account classification.
• Assist with tax-related filings, schedules, and supporting documents, as applicable.
• Support internal and external audits by providing requested documents and explanations.
• Ensure compliance with accounting policies, procedures, and applicable regulations.
• Maintain organized and confidential financial records.
• Perform other accounting and finance-related duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s degree in accountancy
