Accounting Associate

V&R Accounting is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Accounting Associate to join our professional team. We are looking for an individual who enjoys working with numbers, providing exceptional client service, and contributing to a collaborative office environment.

This position is ideal for someone with accounting experience who is looking for long-term career growth in a well-established public accounting firm.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years of accounting experience required
• Income tax preparation experience preferred
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong organizational and data management abilities
• Ability to prioritize multiple projects and meet deadlines
• Effective written and verbal communication skills
• Proficiency with accounting software and Microsoft Office applications

Primary Responsibilities

• Provide monthly bookkeeping and accounting services for assigned business clients
• Prepare financial reports and reconcile client accounts
• Assist with payroll processing and related payroll tax filings
• Assist with individual and business income tax preparation during tax season
• Communicate professionally with clients regarding accounting and tax matters
• Maintain accurate client records while ensuring confidentiality
