Accounting Associate

The Accounting Associate supports daily accounting operations by handling statutory remittances, tax compliance, sales recording, AP/AR functions, account reconciliations, and maintaining accurate financial records while ensuring compliance with accounting and government regulations.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES/ACCOUNTABILITIES:

• Process monthly statutory benefit remittances, including SSS, PhilHealth, Pag-IBIG, and other government-mandated contributions.
• Assist in ensuring compliance with tax regulations by preparing and organizing documents required for tax filings and submissions.
• Support the Bookkeeper in the preparation and filing of tax returns and other regulatory reports.
• Record daily sales transactions accurately in the Sales Journal and ensure proper documentation.
• Serve as a reliever for Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable functions during employee absences, including payments releasing, and payable invoicing
• Assist in account reconciliations and month-end closing activities.
• Maintain organized and accurate accounting records and supporting documents.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, accounting standards, and government regulations.
• Perform other accounting and administrative duties as assigned by the Accounting Supervisor or Accounting Manager.
