Accounting Associate

Responsibilities

• Verify, record, and reconcile accounting transactions accurately and in a timely manner.
• Process client-employee salaries, benefits, and statutory deductions with accuracy.
• Handle payroll remittances and ensure timely submission of government reports.
• Prepare draft tax returns and supporting schedules in compliance with BIR, SEC, LGU, and PEZA requirements.
• Ensure all filings are properly documented and aligned with the Books of Accounts.
• Review and analyze financial data and documents for accuracy and completeness.
• Provide regular updates to the Supervisor and/or Manager, highlighting pending or critical items.
• Maintain organized records for accounting, payroll, and compliance to support audit readiness.
• Demonstrate accountability, openness to feedback, and commitment to continuous improvement.
• Perform other duties as assigned to support departmental and organizational goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accountancy, Management Accounting, or related field.
• At least 1 year of experience in general accounting, tax compliance, or payroll is preferred.
• Knowledge of Philippine taxation, payroll processes, and government compliance requirements.
• Proficiency in MS Office and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, or similar).
• Strong attention to detail, integrity, and organizational skills.
• CPA license or candidacy is an advantage but not required.
• Willingness to learn Japanese business culture and uphold ANP’s standards of professionalism.
