Accounting Associate

About the role

Responsible for supporting daily accounting functions, audit reconciliations, accounts payable/receivable processing, and general ledger operations. Ensures financial accuracy across multi-outlet transactions and maintains internal controls unique to hospitality operations.

Key responsibilities

• Reconcile daily guest folios, Point-of-Sale (POS) transactions, credit card settlements, and cash drops from front desk, F&B outlets, and activities
• Verify vendor invoices against purchase orders and receiving reports from resort inventory; schedule vendor payments
• Manage corporate accounts, group bookings, and travel agency billings; perform collections and balance guest ledgers
• Prepare journal entries, assist with monthly bank reconciliations, and compile financial reports tracking key metrics like RevPAR and department margins
• Participate in monthly inventory audits for food, beverage, spa products, and operational supplies to calculate Cost of Goods Sold (COGS)
• Ensure strict adherence to PCI-DSS standards for guest payment security and assist with internal or external tax and financial audits
