What they need
- Recording and maintaining accurate financial transactions in the accounting system, including invoices, receipts, and payment records
- Processing accounts payable and accounts receivable functions, ensuring timely payment to vendors and collection from customers
- Reconciling bank statements and general ledger accounts on a monthly basis to identify and resolve discrepancies
- Preparing and verifying journal entries and supporting documentation for various accounting transactions
- Assisting with the preparation of financial statements, trial balances, and other accounting reports
- Maintaining and organising financial records and documentation in accordance with company policies and regulatory requirements
- Assisting with audit preparations and responding to audit inquiries with relevant documentation
- Supporting month-end and year-end closing procedures
- Liaising with other departments to obtain necessary financial information and resolve accounting matters
