Accounting Associate

About the Role
We’re looking for a Accounting Associate to accurately recording payments and transactions, expenses and processing of invoice, ensuring that cross-checking is done timely and accurately to make sure that the company’s finances are precisely recorded

What You’ll Do

• Bookkeeping for CAD and USD inventory related vendors' bills and daily operational related bills on a timely base
• Participate and assist with weekly AP payment process upon request
• Assist to accounts payable and payment reconciliation
• Participate eBay and Amazon credit card transaction reconciliation.
• Process accounts payable credit bills for return-to-vendor cases
• Ensuring compliance with accounting and legal requirements; and the accuracy of the bookkeeping transactions.
• Reviewing and maintaining financial records.
• Monitoring & Analyzing expenditure and regularly providing reports.

What We’re Looking For

• A degree in accounting or relevant study
• Experience on CAD and USD bookkeeping.
• Knowledge of accounting competencies and administration skills.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and other accounting software. (Sage 300, Oracle Netsuites and others)
• Advance Math skills to maintain accurate records.
• Excellent organizational skills.
• Attention to detail to ensure the accuracy of company’s invoices data and company’s records.
• Can work with minimal supervision.
• Able to work in on-site overnight shift environment, i.e. 9:00 PM - 6:00 AM (or 10:00 PM - 7:00AM in daylight saving time)
