Accounting Associate

Qualifications

• College Graduate of Accountancy
• Preferably with 1–5 years of relevant accounting experience
• Knowledge of accounting principles and regulatory requirements related to financial reporting, taxation, and auditing
• Proficient in accounting software such as SAP
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple tasks
• Candidate must be within Dasmariñas, Cavite or nearby areas

Job Description

• Process and maintain accounting transactions, including Accounts Payable and other assigned accounting activities.
• Prepare and record journal entries and other accounting transactions accurately and timely.
• Perform monthly bank reconciliations by comparing bank statements with company accounting records.
• Assist in the preparation of financial reports, schedules, and supporting documents.
• Support month-end and year-end closing activities.
• Assist in inventory cycle counts and monitor inventory accuracy in coordination with relevant departments.
• Prepare and assist in the submission of tax-related schedules and supporting documents.
• Maintain accounting records required for BIR and other regulatory requirements.
• Analyze financial and inventory data to identify discrepancies, trends, and areas requiring attention.
• Coordinate with internal departments and provide necessary accounting support and documentation.
• Ensure compliance with company accounting policies, procedures, and applicable regulations.
• Perform other accounting-related duties as assigned by the immediate superior.
