Accounting Associate

MM Technics LP is German based, tier one supplier to the automotive OEM’s in South Carolina. The Prosperity, SC plant joins a corporate family that has manufacturing operations in Germany and Poland. MM Technics is looking to hire an Accounting Associate for the Prosperity, SC location.

Position Snapshot: Under minimal supervision, this position will provide support to the accounting department by performing clerical tasks including processing and recording transactions, fielding communications with customers and vendors and other duties.

Duties

· Daily processing of vendor invoices, bank and card receipts using SAP Business One (accounts payable)

· Daily processing of customer invoices using SAP Business One (accounts receivable)

· Interact with other departments to resolve discrepancies with accounts payable or receivable

· Daily interaction with vendors and customers on accounts payable and receivable issues.

· Assist with weekly vendor check runs, including maintaining vendor files.

· Assist in month end close and audit process.

· Check accuracy of business and financial transactions.

· Any other duties as assigned by the management.

Experience

· High School Diploma or equivalent.

· Knowledge of accounting and financial principles

· SAP Business One, Microsoft Office and accounting applications preferred

· Ability to prioritize and multitask

· Strong organizational skills; Deadline and detail-oriented

Pay: $40,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year

Education:

• High school or equivalent (Required)

Experience:

• Accounting: 1 year (Preferred)
• Microsoft Office: 1 year (Required)
