Accounting Associate

About the role

We are searching for a motivated Accounting Assistant who is an excellent multitasker with exceptional communication and time management skills.

Overall purpose and responsibilities of the role:

• This role will assist the head of finance and accounting with administrative, accounting, and bookkeeping functions.
• He/she will implement and maintain systems, procedures, and policies.

Skills & Qualifications:

• Graduate of 4-year BS Accountancy / Accounting Technician Course
• At least 1-3 years of working experience
• Must be fun and passionate about learning
• Keen on details and with great analytical skills
• Goal-oriented and self-directed, can work with less supervision
• Applicants must be willing to report to the office and work during night hours
• CPA is a plus, but not required

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Bookkeeping tasks in Quickbooks Online
• Issuing Official Receipts to clients upon collections
• Assists in Audits and/or Reporting
• Filing and maintenance of Finance Records
• Prepares management reports in accordance with the reporting requirements
• Prepares monthly and quarterly VAT and Expanded Withholding Tax remittances to BIR

Requirements:

• willing to work in the office (Juna Subdivision, Matina, Davao City)
• preferably residing in Davao or willing to relocate (no relocation package)
• can work in a US time (night shift)
