Accounting Associate

Key Responsibilities:

General Bookkeeping and Financial Reporting:

• Prepare and analyze account schedules, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
• Prepare financial reports, including budget monitoring and variance analysis.
• Coordinate external audits.
• Perform data entry, file maintenance, and other administrative tasks as required.
• Prepare and organize accounting documents.

Accounts Payable Management:

• Process vendor invoices and prepare checks for payment.
• Ensure timely and accurate payment of expenses.
• Maintain accurate records of vendor information and invoices.
• Reconcile accounts payable balances.

Accounts Receivable Management:

• Collect outstanding invoices and maintain accurate records of customer balances.
• Process customer payments and reconcile receipts.
• Generate customer statements and reports.

Tax Compliance:

• Prepare and file tax forms and reports as required.
• Computation and reporting of withholding taxes.
• Maintain records related to tax compliance.

Key Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 1 year of experience in accounting or a related field is an advantage, fresh grads are welcome.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and accounting software.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy.
• Can work under pressure.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
