We are seeking a talented Accounting Associate to join a collaborative, entrepreneurial team and support the financial operations of a diversified real estate investment platform. Key Responsibilities

• Support day-to-day accounting activities across multiple real estate investments and related business entities.
• Maintain general ledger accounts, prepare journal entries, and complete monthly bank and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Manage accounts payable and receivable, including invoice processing, vendor payments, billing, and expense tracking.
• Assist with month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting.
• Prepare and maintain financial schedules, cash flow reports, and supporting documentation for management.
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and other financial reporting initiatives.
• Coordinate with property management teams to review financial statements, operating results, and property-level accounting information.
• Support investment-related accounting activities, including investor distributions, intercompany transactions, and reconciliations.
• Work alongside senior leadership to identify opportunities for process improvements and greater efficiency across accounting functions.
• Assist with audit preparation, tax reporting support, and other special projects as needed.

Qualifications

• Ideally 1–5 years of accounting experience in public accounting, private industry, or a combination of both.
• Real estate industry experience required , with property accounting or real estate investment accounting experience strongly preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred.
• Strong understanding of general ledger accounting, reconciliations, financial statements, and month-end close procedures.
• Experience working with multiple entities, intercompany transactions, and investment accounting is a plus.
• Familiarity with real estate accounting software such as Yardi, RealPage, MRI, or similar platforms is preferred.
• Strong Excel skills and comfort working with financial reports and accounting schedules.
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple priorities independently.
• Strong communication skills and a proactive, team-oriented approach.
