Position Summary:

The Entry-Level Accounting Associate will support daily financial operations, including data entry, invoice processing, account reconciliations, and assisting with monthly financial reports. Key Responsibilities:

• Process and record daily transactions including vehicle sales, parts, and service receipts
• Prepare and post journal entries and maintain general ledger accounts
• Reconcile bank statements and internal financial records
• Assist in accounts payable and accounts receivable functions
• Support inventory tracking and reporting for vehicles and parts
• Help with month-end and year-end financial closing procedures
• Maintain accurate and organized financial files and documentation
• Work closely with the sales and service departments to ensure accurate reporting
• Perform other administrative and accounting duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (or currently pursuing)
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Basic understanding of accounting principles
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Office applications
• Ability to learn dealership management software (Dealertrack and Tekion)
• Excellent organizational and communication skills
• Self-motivated and able to work independently and as part of a team

Preferred Skills (not required):

• Internship or prior experience in an office/accounting setting
• Familiarity with automotive dealership processes
