Accounting Associate (Full-Time)

The Accounting Associate will learn key fundamentals across the spectrum of our Accounting and Finance disciplines including treasury management, monthly accounting close, general ledger administration, resort and member billing, accounts receivable, accounts payable, fixed assets, and financial planning & analysis. This position provides great training and an educational platform for career growth and development. With a knowledge of basic accounting principles, you are detail oriented and able to manage competing priorities and multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment. You possess excellent organizational skills and the ability to work accurately and repetitively with detailed, confidential information. You are collaborative with a "can do" attitude with problem-solving orientation and skills to develop solutions for unanticipated issues. You exercise discretion and judgement to make independent business decisions on assigned subject matters.

The Accounting Associate plays an essential role in supporting the financial operations of the organization while contributing to a seamless and elevated experience for guests, members, and internal teams. This position assists with month-end close activities including the preparation and processing of journal entries, reconciliation of sub-ledger and general ledger accounts, and maintenance of accurate financial records across multiple accounting functions. The Accounting Associate supports accounts payable processes through the timely and accurate processing of authorized vendor invoices and maintenance of vendor records, while also assisting with member, guest, and group billing activities within the accounts receivable cycle to help ensure accurate, efficient, and service-oriented financial transactions. Serving as a responsive and professional resource for vendors, guests, members, and team members, this role researches and resolves discrepancies with care, urgency, and attention to detail. The Accounting Associate develops strong working knowledge of operational and financial software platforms to analyze data, support reporting needs, and enhance operational efficiency, while also assisting with audit preparation, financial schedules, and special projects as assigned. Through accuracy, responsiveness, and commitment to operational excellence, this role helps foster trust, supports smooth business operations, and contributes to the exceptional hospitality experience delivered across the organization.
