Accounting Associate I

Main Job Tasks and Responsibilities:

· Obtain and maintain a thorough understanding of the Company’s financial reporting structure and business.

· Responsible for processing and checking of requests for payments of suppliers, employee’s cash advances, liquidations and reimbursement and other similar functions.

· Assist in regular reconciliation with suppliers on outstanding balances.

· Prepare BIR 2307 for transactions processed wherein expanded withholding tax was withheld.

· Post transactions and categorize records in the general ledger (e.g., by assets, liabilities, and expenses)

· Assist in intercompany accounting and reconciliations in a timely manner.

· Assist in reconciliation of bank statements.

· Assist in fixed assets monitoring, reconciliations, lapsing and depreciation schedules.

· Monitor compliance reporting/filing requirements and payments with government agencies and instrumentalities such as BIR, SSS, PHILHEALTH and HDMF.

· Prepare audit schedules and assist in documentary requirements to support internal/external audit.

· Assist / facilitate audits required by third parties such as vendors, customers, taxing authorities, etc.

· Work with the Accounting Officer/Manager to help resolve questions regarding financials.

· Handles Payroll preparation, computation and processing including issuance of payroll slip.

· Assist on preparation of monthly and quarterly financial reports including schedules.

· Perform special tasks for customers to be assigned by the Immediate Supervisor.

· Prepare daily reports such as revenue and expenses reports, etc.

· Perform other tasks assigned by Immediate Supervisor and Department Head.

Pay: Php20,000.00 - Php25,000.00 per month
