Accounting Associate Intern

About the role

As an Accounting Associate Intern at a health-technology company, you will support the finance team and gain hands-on experience in accounts payable, receivable, and general ledger maintenance while ensuring data accuracy.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in the daily processing of accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions
• Perform data entry and maintenance of financial records into the accounting system (e.g., invoices, receipts, and journal entries)
• Help conduct monthly bank reconciliations and general ledger account analyses under the guidance of a senior accountant
• Support the preparation of basic financial reports and documentation for month-end close procedures
• Assist in organizing and filing financial documents, ensuring adherence to internal controls and company policies
• Provide administrative support for finance-related tasks and special projects as needed

About you

• Currently pursuing or recently graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Accountancy, Financial Management, Business Administration, or a related field
• No prior professional experience required; a strong foundation in accounting principles and enthusiasm for learning are essential
• Exceptional organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail
• Basic understanding of financial statements and bookkeeping procedures
• Proficiency in spreadsheet software (Google Sheets or Microsoft Excel) is required
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Amendable to work on-site in Taguig
