Accounting Associate (Office-Based / On-Site)

Job Summary:

The Accounting Associate is responsible for accurately recording financial transactions into the company’s accounting system. This includes encoding bills, expenses, customer payments, and supplier payments to ensure that all financial data is up-to-date and reliable. The role provides support to the accounting team in maintaining organized and accurate financial records.

Key Responsibilities:

• Encode supplier bills, invoices, and expense records into the accounting system.
• Record customer payments and ensure proper application to accounts receivable.
• Process and encode supplier payments and other disbursements.
• Maintain accurate and timely data entry of financial transactions.
• Assist in reconciling discrepancies in accounts as needed.
• Support the accounting team with basic clerical and administrative tasks.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and standard accounting procedures.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (preferred).
• Knowledge of basic accounting principles.
• Experience with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, SAP, or similar) is an advantage.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
• Good organizational and time management skills.
